When a client travelled all the way from Cape Town to Pietermaritzburg, they weren’t bringing us an ordinary service job.
Their vehicle had suffered severe engine overheating and catastrophic piston damage. The engine had reached a point where simply replacing a few parts wasn’t going to cut it. It needed a proper diagnosis, precision work and a complete rebuild.
Extreme overheating had caused serious thermal damage to the pistons and other internal engine components, leaving the engine severely compromised.
We stripped the engine down, assessed the extent of the damage, carried out the necessary measurements and machining, replaced damaged components and rebuilt the engine to restore its functionality.
